It's Valentines Day tomorrow and I thought I'd share this quick little Valentines card I made. I've set myself a challenge this year to reduce the amount of scrapbook and craft supplies I have, which is a lot I can assure you, so I'm going to be making all of the cards I need for this year instead of buying them. Which may not sound unusual, in fact I know lots and lots of crafters who haven't bought a card in years, but I'm not really a card maker.
In order to avoid overwhelm I grabbed a few bits of patterned paper to work with that fit with the Valetines theme and colour scheme I wanted, this made it considerably easier to get started. Here's what I chose,
I then started to put it all together and once I had the overall design of the card sorted I could then go through my embellishments to find suitable bits to add.
I dug out two clear stamps, one with a heart and one with XOXO, I also chose a small blue frame and some green acrylic dots which seem to have been in my supplies for ever.
A bit of ink around the edges, some 3d foam pads and a doodled border and it's good to go!
A quick and easy to make Valentines card.
Wishing you all lots of love tomorrow on Valentines Day!
